Hope Farm Madagascar is the brain child of the Mercy Ministries Madagascar  team led by Francis Adja. The island of Madagascar located in the Indian Ocean is home to 28 million people and is the 5th largest island in the world in size (About the same size as Texas)! Partnering with such ministries as YWAM and other churches around the globe, Mercy Ministries Madagascar's vision began with feeding school children facing malnutrition.

90% of Madagascar's population live on less than $3.10 per day!

40% of Madagascar's school children face malnutrition every day!

Mission

With 30 acres, we started out growing beans, corn, pineapples, eggplants and more. Our happy farm has chickens, ducks and zebus. Zebus are Madagascar's native cows with lyre-shaped horns and a dorsal hump. Zebus have shaped Malagasy culture for over 2000 years, when arriving in the 1st millenium from India!

We do fish farming, produce honey with our bees and have over 5000 cinnamon trees. Two years ago we built a training center and we hope to add student and teacher dormitories. Our goal is to offer 3 training courses per year on agriculture, ecological farming, livestock and discipleship! We hope as you purchase our beautiful spices that we can meet and exceed our mission!
